Prepare flow chart diagrams indicating procedures for dealing with variation/changes,
progress payments and the like incorporating agreement and understanding from all
parties.

Value the work in progress on site and recommend amount of interim payments on account
to the contractors.

Advise the design team on the approximate cost effect of variations under consideration via an
agreed procedure.

Measure and value variations to the contract and pricing
and agreeing the amount of credits and extras (to the limit of the authority granted) with the
contractor.

Prepare at monthly intervals and as situation dictates progressive budgetary statements of
estimated final cost throughout the contract.

Provide continuous consultation with all other consultants to enable cost to be monitored
during the construction period.

Provide advice as requested regarding construction costs and contractual matters.
